Specialty Self-Assessment Simulations

Specialty self-assessment simulations in renal*, pediatric, and metabolic nutrition are valuable study resources for RDs interested in sitting for the Board Certification as a Specialist in Pediatric or Renal examinations. These publications are also useful tools for:

Specialty Self-Assessment Simulations consist of six patient-management problems, self-scoring instructions, answer key, explanations for the correct responses and references. They use the same patient management problem format as the Board Certification as a Specialist in Dietetics examinations. However, these problems are presented in a paper version, rather than the computer delivery which will begin in 2002.
