Learners are responsible for accurately documenting continuing education. One (1) hour of live lecture or time spent viewing posters is equal to one (1) CPEU. Reported hours must reflect true participation.
Based on the schedule of events, a learner who attends educational sessions during all available times may claim up to 8.0 CPEUs for viewing posters. Attendees who do not attend educational sessions during all available times may claim more. Attendees may claim a maximum of 15.0 CPEUs for this activity type per recertification cycle.

Can I claim CPEUs from past FNCEs^®?

Yes. If you attended FNCE® sessions during your current five-year recertification cycle, you may claim CPEUs from those sessions.

Please note the following CPEU maximums per five-year recertification cycle:

Activity Type 175 (Recorded Pre-Approved CPE): 50 CPEUs for RDs and 33 CPEUs for DTRs
Activity Type 130 (Exhibits): 15 CPEUs for RDs and 10 CPEUs for DTRs
Activity Type 180 (Posters): 15 CPEUs for RDs and 10 CPEUs for DTRs
